Use the Right Signs and Displays for Effective Marketing

If you want to give your company more exposure, you need to invest in marketing and advertising.  And if you know anything about business, then you are definitely aware that this aspect of doing business is typically the most expensive.  For that reason, it is important to find or develop marketing strategies that will effectively communicate your brand to those who might be in search of it; otherwise you will not convert those investment dollars into sales dollars.

One way tried and true way to succeed with marketing is signage.  Think about all of the visual information your eyes collect and your brain analyzes on a daily basis.  Outside of social media, of course, we see pictures, graphs, infographics, videos, billboards, JF Litho indoor signs, and other visual advertising everywhere we look; sometimes we don’t even realize we are looking at it!  This can be very powerful to anyone who simply wants to get their name out there, but even more effective for those who know how to truly capture the medium.

In terms of visual advertising, posters and other display setups are standard.  The different types and styles can affect how people receive the information, so choose from options like:

  • Snap frame (or clip frame)
  • “POS” accessories
  • Poster holders
  • Portable counters
  • Display stands
  • Mounting bars for posters
  • Plexiglass counter

A major advantage to indoor advertising is that people have less visual stimuli to take in. This means you can strategically place posters and displays to maximize the number of eyeballs that scan it, which is particularly useful inside a convention hall or sports arena, where people are passing through quickly and don’t want to take the time to stop and read long pitches. This type of indoor signage includes:

  • Hanging Ceiling mounts
  • Wall signage
  • Edge grip spacers
  • Standoffs

Of course, you can always mount signs on the wall or hanging from eaves, etc.  Buildings have lots of places to do this, so get creative with:

  • Retractable banner stands (on tables)
  • Pop-up display counters
  • L-shaped displays
  • Roll-up retractable bracket displays
  • Portable counters

Similar to interior supports and displays, this type of signage is designed to capture attention in the more competitive outdoor environment.  They also need to be durable, as weather (and other factors) can be unpredictable:

  • Advertising flags
  • Street lights
  • Spring-frame support
  • Curbstones
